Hi this is my first thread though i use tom's hardware to browse through various doubts.
Here is my system config:
CPU- AMD FX8320 black edition
GPU- Asus Nvidia Gtx 750 ti 2gb Ddr5
Ram Corsair Value 8 gb
CoolerMaster K281 cabinet
Corsair Vs 650W PSU
MOBO:GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3

And just to mention i don't know the exact model but i have coolermaster heatsink over the cpu not the stock cooler.
Now initially when i bought the pc 15 days ago the cpu temp was 19-24 in idle conditions and while i played games it went to 50-55 max.I played AC Black Flag and Injustice GAS.Now installed AC Unity and as you already know it is very poorly optimized. So in the beginning i played it with temperatures reaching 55-60 with most of the settings high. But after one week i noticed the temperature is reaching 70 degrees(Max temp in Core Temp) while playing it.And now since few days the pc shuts itself down on its own sometimes. And today it shut down while playing AC unity.
And now my idle temperatures are well above 30 or near 40.Can anyone tell me what the problem is.And in some posts i read the Vcore voltage has to 1.32V or near about it btw i am confused between VID and Vcore voltage. My Core Temp readings is 1.4125 though i don't know what it was initially when my pc was new.

yes i brought it with my friend from local shop who is a bit expert when it comes to hardware.Because of him i took the gigabyte motherboard because i heard from people that is better in the long run than Asus.I got it assembled there by the shop assistant. So coming back to the point btw i cleaned it now with an airblower i bought. And after that the idle temp has lowered to 20's but the temp while playing ac unity still goes high it went to 60 degrees and above. So is it normal for the cpu to reach such high temps while gaming???And btw i am primarily using it for gaming i play continously for around an hour but overall 4-5 hours daily and my pc is on for almost half of the day.So any suggesstions or advice would be great.

I would take it back to the shop straight away. You paid money for a working computer, you paid to have it built for you and so you paid for the peace of mind everything would work fine. It's not working fine, take it back asap and get them to sort it.

Hmm yes you are right but i feel that only AC unity is such high performance game dunno if anyone else has same issues while playing it but when i played Shadow of Mordor at high settings it doesn't use that much of resources as well as cause heating issues.Last night i played for 1.5 hrs AC unity and after that it began lagging and as usual the pc temperatures shoot to 65 degrees with the side chasis opened. I will wait for some time to see if the game is the culprit but if not then surely i will do as you said and approach the shop.

Regardless of how intensive a game is, it should not be over heating at 100% usage and causing shut downs - that would basically mean you can only use 70% of your hardware. Even if it's been overclocked by them, they should have tested it to it could sit at 100% and not overheat to the point of a crash.

Take it back, tell them that in intensive games your computer is overheating to the point that it will shut down. They will have done something silly like not have the heat sync sat right, too much coolant or even a faulty component. Regardless - the beauty of a store bought computer is that it should work perfectly and you have the right to take it back and tell them to put it right free of charge.

By mistake i selected this as the best solution. Can i undo it??And yes i will surely do it but now i am going to change my cpu position from the cupboard and keep it in the open in a week or so.Then i will see if it still runs hot.If yes then i will go back to the shop.If no then that means it was a ventilation problem.

Thanks a lot for unselecting.Yeah that's why i am going to keep it in the open now. Then i will see whether it is cool or not.

Finally solved it.One thing i learned is all those discussions i browsed through this as well other sites solutions, no offense but they misguided me or others too maybe.Nobody mentioned this simple solution to many people who face the heating issue. Most of the experts said that there is a problem with your heatsink, ur cpu cooler, ur motherboard(4+1 is not a good one), lower your Vcore(VID NBID and whatever else to complicate things) and PSU problem.Well i found luckily the solution by a guy who posted a comment just 5 days ago on a Video of Prime 95 testing on fx-8320 which had turbo mode enabled ran upto 59 degrees which also happened to me when i ran Prime 95 on my rig. He said for all fx users DISABLE THE TURBO MODE or APM IN THE BIOS.Well that's what i did and i also disabled Cool n Quiet mode. After restarting the pc i first ran Crysis 3 which was also going above 60 degrees for me.To my surprise it went to a temp of 45-48 degrees.I was shocked at first but to be sure i then closed it and started AC unity and again the temp went to max 50 but stayed stable at 48.And another thing i noticed is the clockspeed-all the cores were running at 3.5 ghz which is maximum stock speed i believe and i think it can be overclocked to 4ghz by increasing the multiplier to 20x from 17.5x.And also the VID voltage dropped too while playing the game from 1.4125 with turbo on to 1.3xx with turbo off.Had someone told to do this i wouldn't have wasted a week browsing tons of forum to find a solution. And lastly i moved my Cabinet to an elevated and open position than before i.e. a cupboard and also keep my side chasis open while playing.

A couple things. Gigabyte makes SOME great boards. Yours isn't one of them. It is a very poor board for an eight core cpu. It only has 4+1 phase power. You should have 8+2. No Micro ATX boards are good with six and eight core cpu's. And take it from me ASUS makes the best AM3+ boards that exist. That is why the Saberkitty 990FX R2 and Crosshair are the choice of most guys who are enthusiast overclockers. And that includes The Stilt.

You might be right but most of my techie friends told that Gigabyte lasts longer than Asus and one friend told me that he had burnt 3 ASUS mobos and his recently bought same as mine GIGABYTE MOBO lasted longer than those previous three and my friend who had accompanied me told me that i would face overclocking issue on Gigabyte but still it would be better than the same priced ASUS mobo.I change my mobo's decision at the very last moment to Gigabyte. No to mention i had a ASUS mobo in my old rig and when i went to exchange it for my new rig the shop asisstant told me that my MOBO was burnt and that's why my old rig wasn't booting up.One of my other friends is still running his old rig fine since 6-7 years on GIGABYTE mobo. And also i am not so into overclocking and all other stuff.I just want to play the latest games on my pc with ease as well do my college stuff without any problems. And lastly i have little knowledge about what is 4+1 power and 8+2 power phased mobos and i don't care now because i am happy now that things are running smoothly. But in my future if will build a beast then surely i would go for good mobos.

Well check out real overclocking site like overclockers.com and overclock.net. Your friends also recommended a board that is given away free in combo deals. Your friends probably buy bottom of the barrel boards. I know from firsthand experience since I have a Sabertooth R2 and first Gen. A UD3 R4 a UD5, a UD7. Plus lots more.

Dude i had a tight budget and my friend already told me that this motherboard is the most basic motherboard.Of course if my dad had allowed me to spend more then i would have gone for a better motherboard and also for intel cpu.And also i live in India and not in US else i could have bought things more cheaper from newegg.com or whatever else there is.This build is a budget build but when i will build an expensive one definitely i would go for the motherboards you recommended. And lastly i want to close this thread since i found my solution and i can't pick my own answer as the solution. What do i do?

People didn't mislead you, it's just that nobody's expecting a gaming PC to be played inside a cupboard. The only reason anyone would find the solution is because you luckily finally mentioned in passing the really weird thing you were doing with your PC. That's not a typical situation and forum users are not telepathic.
