Screen/gpu issue (A.M.D. hardware r9 270x) Screen spazm issue. I need help please!

about a week ago this issue started happening where when I would open dayz my screen would do this http://makeagif.com/Y0RkWd <-- (gif of screen spazm) but only on rare instances sometims it will happen when playing flash games on websites (I also did do a fresh install of windows 7 64 bit ultimate) if anyone has ever experienced this and may know the issue please tell me what to do thanks! Sys:spec 8gb ram corsair vengence
1.5tb hdd seagate
cpu amd 6 core
gpu r9 270x sapphire 4g
power supply corsair 650 watt
mainboard msi 970A-G43
monitor acer led 27 dvi input

And how do I reset the clock on it I had overclock mode on once on my msi mobo but its on standard now
but I have no clue how to reset the clock. but if you can tell me It might fix it thanks!

If your cpu & memory need overclock resetting, boot into BIOS and select load optimized defaults in the 'EXIT' menu.
GPU overclocking is performed in OS with programs like MSI Afterburner, EVGA Precision etc.
If you have overclocked your graphics card you would know which program i think.

Well My gpu is dead now the screen has vertical lines everywhere im just gonna buy the gtx 970 4gb for $406.00 its better than nothing right also its evga they originally want 600 but on ebay I found bestbuy selling it a hella lot cheaper but thanks for trying dude! +rep to you!

This is happening with my windforce r9 270x also..... is it a bad line of r9 270x's.


I wonder if there OC standard is too high killing the gpu?, temps always seem fine but then THIS happens......

I sent mine back for a full refund and am aiming for the high GTX 9XX models next to avoid further issues.



BTW i have received two of these from an RMA and they both act the same screen tears 1-2 artifacts a few mins and then the total screen failure you linked to with my last one.

Resulting in the full refund.
