Hi everyone,

I'm in the market for a gaming PC that can be easily upgraded as time goes on and if I wish to upgrade it at all. I used to PC game endlessly, however since that period of my life has now passed, I'm looking for something which can keep me entertained for an hour or two when I have free time. I'd like to spend around $600 but I'd be willing to go a tad bit steeper. I'm mostly looking to play older games, namely the Total War series (and being that most of the titles are older I hope this makes the process of choosing something easier), but am anticipating some upcoming releases which I'd like to upgrade for and play when that time comes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you need windows and want to stick a little closer to $600 then here it is.

This build is great for you. I'd personally go with an nvidia 960 for the graphics card over the AMD 280, but i like my systems quiet and cool in addition to powerful.

Do it yourself, you don't needd to be qualified at all just watch a few pc build and you shouldd be compleatly fine with it and have next to no problems just be patient and through when your building it and make sure to double check the wiring.

It seems like I would need an optical drive to install Windows? Is there any way around this?

And buy a static grounding wrist strap!!! Then read how to use it.
