Dual extended monitors on one HDMI output

I was wondering what are my options of hardware to buy? My Maximus VI HERO only has one HDMI output and nothing else, and I want to extended my triple monitor. I am running a 120/144Hz monitor on my GPU, so I have to use the integrated (iGPU) so that the desktop does not lag on my other 2 60Hz monitors.

What is your gpu?
Normally, it will attach 3 or more monitors.

If you are gaming on a single monitor, adding a second or third monitor to your graphics card will not impact gaming performance.
I once tried adding a cheap second graphics card for a side monitor and it had no impact on gaming at all.
The reason is that side monitors for email/performance monitors are relatively static.
You could spend $50 or so for a second pcie x16 graphics card to attach them if you wish.

I would look to the same type(AMD or NVIDIA) so you would not need to install a different graphics driver.

Use the adapter on your gpu, not the motherboard's outputs. Your R9 290 has a one Displayport, one HDMI and two DVI.

Triple Monitor = DUAL CARDS. There is not enough power to synchronize on a single GPU add on (which sounds like your just using ONBOARD video NOT a GPU) across three screens. With such a 'demand' (triple monitors) comes GREAT EXPENSE.

You will need AT LEAST a 1KW PSU UPGRADE to the system to support multiple GPUs to have the 'performance' (you want over 5FPS right??) to push across ALL THREE monitors at the same time, without one monitor 'blinking out' over another because the GPU can't keep up across all THREE (and I am guessing you don't mean three 'displaying the same image' but you mean three SPREADING the image across all three displays).

Because of the difference in refresh rate (120Hz vs 60Hz) the monitors lag when I enable more than one on my GPU. That's why currently I have one on iGPU and my 120Hz on my GTX980 (I upgraded =X). When I enable my 3rd monitor which has to utilize my GTX980 because my mobo doesn't have another output, All 3 monitors lag due to the different refresh rates.
