Aver Media Live Gamer HD, no sound playback!

I just bought the Aver Media Live Gamer HD, along with a Snowball microphone. I also have my head, the logitech g930. The HDMI Coming from my graphics card ( Gtx 750 ti sc ) is going into the IN of the aver media, and the hdmi for the aver media is going to my monitor. I am able to hear the sound only if my HDMI Sound is set to default, which is not a problem because I can just mute the sound, but I am not able to hear it through my headset.

The capture card is a pass through, so it would be ideal to use a head-set that employs the typical jacks. If not, there might be a way to duplicate sound output to two different devices, but I don't have the proper hardware to give it a try, myself. Perhaps somebody else has done this before?

Assuming the capture card is capturing both video and audio through the graphics card, it seems to me that you should be able to plug the headset into the monitor for sound. If the sound is being output to speakers, then you should replace the speaker's audio jack, plugged into the capture card, with the headset's. Make sense?
