need help with powersupply upgrade and gpu

friends got a gateway dx4680 ef-12p i need to know what gpu would work with 300watt ps and if he can upgrade the ps if its a atx powersupply?

his budget is 120$ canadian for card and 60$ for powersupply.

This is an ATX power supply that is much more reliable than that crappy one that comes with the PC. (I can't believe it's 60 dollars!!)

Won't get much better than that... If you want new.

Note: Since I live in the U.S., the parts that cost 60 and 120 here are 150 and 100 over there... :/
