I have a amd FX 8120 and in a ton of games ive been getting bad framerate preformance drops. It gets slightly better after the cpu heats up. I had some work done on my pc when my hdd failed and a ton of drivers got corrupted. So i got the new hdd put in and the stupid people at fries cloned it even though i made a point of saying that it had bad drivers on it. It forced me to reformat. I cant really update it because when i tried the amd auto detect updater its not detecting my OS. Also for some reason around 5 pm every day a error pops up telling me my OS is not valid and to use an automated phone number. I havent done that yet but im just entirely confused. I really really need help please..

The popup telling you your OS is invalid is a fact because you haven't activated your window licence. It is not an error. If you have your window key, type in that to activate your window licence. If you don't you may need to buy another window licence.

You cpu is issue here it bottlenecks GTX 760 i know that for sure.I have r7 260x it is allot weaker compared to gtx 760,i was doing some testing just to kill time and i down clocked my CPU to 3ghz from 4.1 and i can see bottleneck,GPU usage is not at 100% most of the time but when i bump it back to 4.1 it stays at 100%.Tested in games BF3 and 4,Dragon Age Inquisition,Metro Last Light Redux but not that much of the impact like in other games,Crysis 3(even at 1.4 ghz GPU usage and fps stayed same). So yea you need to OC that FX 8120 to make your GTX 760 shine. Also what motherboard do you have, that can be problem also.
