this will be my first pc and i need your opinions on it before i buy the parts. i already own 3 of those parts so the case motherboard and ram cannot be changed, but i would still like to know what you think. also i am on a tight budget and this rig will be used for gaming and school. if you make any changes to my build try not to make it too expensive. another thing is depending on this upcoming week i might change my cpu to an inexpensive i5 but as of now with the money i have its looking like the i3

Hey, thanks! I do not have one. Could you possibly choose a good cheap one for me? Also do I need one if I do not plan on overclocking?

No you wont, looks solid build nice upgrade paths in the future.

I have the CM Hyper 212 EVO on my i7-3770K which is overclocked to 4.6 GHz. This heatsink works fine and is inexpensive; around $35 on sale.

If you do decide to upgrade to an overclockable motherboard later then this cpu cooler would be great for light overclocking.
