Ok so I found two amazing deals for gaming pc two who are much cheaper than buying the parts alone I want to know your guys thoughts on which one is better

build 1
CPU:Intel Core i7 4770
GPU: GTX 970
RAM: 8GB DDR3 Dual Channel
MOBO: Asus/Gigabyte/msi Support Core i3 / i5 / i7
AUDIO: High Definition Audio 2.1/7.1-channel HD front panel audio
LAN: Gigabit-lan (10/100/1000 Mbit)
HDD: HDD: 1000GB 7200rpm ncq class

Build 2
CPU: I5 4440
GPU: GTX 980
everything else is the same

Solution
I'd go with build 2. The 980 build will make a much bigger difference on gaming than the i7 build.

Just a reminder though, If you ever plan on overclocking your CPU, then you'll need a "K-series" processor.

If you don't already have one, I'd throw a SSD in there if you can afford it.

the i5 with a 980 would be a great deal at $1000. the gpu would be $550 of the price. the mobo is probably very cheap however and won't have many upgrade support. not knowing the full specs this would be my opinion since the i7 is not really needed for gaming.

a link to the systems would let me offer a better opinion beyond this basic one.

My opinion would be (if you have a Good quality 600W PSU) To go with a R9 290 or 290X and used the saved money compared to the 980 and get a K series CPU and a better motherboard if you can squeeze it into the budget.

Edit: Nevermind, I believe you are buying a pre built system.. In that case Build 2 is best.
