I´ve just finished re-building an old pc i found in an old closet and everything seems to be working fine (coolers, led lights and stuff) but i don´t hear the beep sound when i turn it on and my monitor don´t detect any signal. I try cleaning my rams and changed the motherboard battery. I don´t know what else to do. Thx very much guys.
Excuse my english, i am from Argentina.

Solution
Remove video card, memory, disk signal and power cables. Leave only the CPU, CPU fan, MB and power supply. Try starting the system.

If the MB beeps "no memory" add the memory. If the system stops beeping and seems dead after adding memory then the memory could be bad.

If the MB does not beep "no memory" then either the PSU, MB or CPU is bad. Make sure again that the power cables from the power supply (PSU) go to the two connections on the MB, and that no other wires from the PSU are plugged into any other part. If the system still does not beep then you can either replace the PSU or replace the MB - your guess.
