How to revert back to Windows 7?

I just installed Windows 8 on my machine, choosing to only keep personal files, and am not enjoying the OS at all, and would very much like too go back to windows 7 and get my old programs back. Is there a way to do like a rollback or will I have to completely reinstall windows 7?

2 options:

1. Upgrade to Win 8.1. Cause it to boot directly into Desktop mode. Looks a lot like 7, but with the Win 8.1 benefits.

2. Full reinstall of Win 7.

Ok, is there a place I can download the ISO file for Windows 7 so I can reinstall? I can't seem to find it on the Windows Download page and I don't have the Disk anymore.

An addition to what USAFRet said, download and install Classic Shell. It'll give you back full Start Button functionality. It can also change some of the Windows behaviors as well. You can even add a Side bar add-on if you like Windows 7 gadgets.

Thanks, I eventually decided to keep 8.1 and installed ClassicShell and changed some options and I'm using essentially a reskinned Windows 7, and I couldnt be happier
