Does my CPU work on this motherboard and BIOS version?

Hi, I've just finished assembling a new PC using Intel i7 4790K CPU and the AsRock H97 Performance motherboard. It turns on but no display on the monitor at all. Not even a no signal message and then the computer restarts after about 30-60 seconds.
Is this because of an old BIOS version by any chance?
I had a look on this page http://www.asrock.com/mb/intel/Fatal1ty%20H97%20Performance/index.asp?cat=CPU and I don't quite understand it. If I scroll down to my CPU, on the last column it says P1.10. Does this mean I need to update the BIOS before the computer will work ? Thanks

This is what it says under BIOS:
- 2 x 64Mb AMI UEFI Legal BIOS with multilingual GUI support (1 x Main BIOS and 1 x Backup BIOS)
- Supports Secure Backup UEFI Technology
- ACPI 1.1 Compliant wake up events
- SMBIOS 2.3.1 Support

Not sure if that helps, if not are there any other ways of telling what the BIOS version is?
- CPU, DRAM, PCH 1.05V, PCH 1.5V Voltage Multi-adjustment

EDIT: Found it, it says P1.40
