Hello

I will be buying a 2560x1440 monitor for graphic design, 3D design and rendering and video editing. And some gaming.

I have a GTX660 which can handle the resolutions as far as productivity work is concerned, but not so well with gaming.

Which things needing more and more video ram including productivity software, which gpu would be good to get? The GTX780Ti, GTX970, or the GTX980?

The 980 would take a while to get.

I am concerned about the GTX780ti only having 3gigs of ram and the problem with the GTX970 ram and not having full 4 gig of the same speed.

My default would be to just a GTX960 and wait for what may come out in the next two months.

Which one?

Well you won't see a huge difference between a 660 and a 960, of course the pixel rate will go up a fair bit but they got the same amount of memory and not much difference between their clock speed. As for the 970 a lot of people seem to be experiencing issues with it without any drivers being realized to resolve the issue. Have you considered a Radeon R9 290?

The software I will use takes advantage of Cuda cores.

Alright, so you could always go for the 970, however do some reason on the memory loss issue before hand.
