I have a Kindle Fire HD 7 Model D025 ...Also I have put Android 4.4 on it.
I need to charge and use data over the micro USB but there is only 1 port. I would like to use a usb drive at home or maybe a variety of devices like sd cards and portable drives via a hub or something while at home but eventually the battery on the tablet will die.....Hence the need for simultaneous data/charging. I actually can not find an option for something to buy even on the net. Maybe the problem is that the device has a specific name which I don't know but I can not find one. I would imagine this would be an inexpensive common thing but I cant find one.
Please help.

Your Kindle should be able to charge battery and transfer data simultaneously via a single lead from it's microUSB port to your PC's USB port, though full charging will take considerably longer through computer's USB port compared to using mains charger since the charging rate is only 500mA instead of 2 amps.

Yeah I am aware of that. Sorry for the confusion. What I want to get is a powered hub that supplies both data communication and power to everything connected to it. So it would plug into the wall and work as a powered usb port for every port on there...hopefully like 4 usb ports. so it would power lets say a portable HDD, a thumb drive, a gamepad, and the kindle and charge it too...I dont care if it doesn't charge fast. I just need it to charge just enough to keep it from loosing battery power. I want to be able to access the data on the HDD and the thumb drive from my kindle. I know you can access data from an otg cable to a thumb drive but then the battery will die eventually. See my problem? I want a permanent solution.
So what do I need to get?
