Hey there!

My Uncle is having an old PC, and he wants a triple monitor set up inspired by my upcoming gaming rig, but he just want to do there us work. Applications like Microsoft Office, Web browsing, and sometimes movies. So no Gaming GPU is required.

Ive been looking for a cheap one but most states that the GPU doesn't have a display port or so to able to run 3 displays. I am confused about which card to choose.

The PC specs are below.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
4GB DDR2 RAM
1TB Seagate Barracuda
450W PSU
21" Monitor @ 1024x768

Asus GT640-2GD3 will support 4 monitors directly (DVIx2, HDMI, VGA). no idiotic DisplayPort BS to deal with. around $100 if you can still find them. i have and use two of these, plus onboard, plus a GT610, and i'm only driving 8 monitors for now.

you DO NOT need to use DisplayPort for a 3rd or 4th monitor. that is AMD BS. nVid has you covered nicely as per GT640.

Yes. But it won't running games on all 3 monitors. You'd need a more powerful card for that.
