My PC ran Far Cry 4 perfect but today it can not run it more than 10FPS on low setting what the heck is going on???

I was playing this game on Custome setting with ever possible thing on the highest settings and getting a constant 50-60FPS now i can not even open the game and when i am lucky enough to open the game i can not play it more than 10FPS on low settings? Did Ubisoft have an update set to where it makes users with AMD card to not be allowed to play it above 10FPS and any settings above Low?

There was an update apparently only to include multiplayer coop function in custom maps but nothing else mentioned. Maybe they did do something?

The game still plays the same for me albeit Nvidia.

I suggest (If it is the game) write down all your graphics settings, change to another preset and close the game. Reopen and adjust to your previous settings and try again. Just to see if anything has been overwritten during the update that may have corrupted an graphical setting.

I'm assuming you've scanned for other os related issues regarding malware/viruses? and also assuming other games run as they did.

Hey I had the same issue when I was running my I5 2500K But when I jumped over to my FX 8350 build with a AMD R9 280x it ran perfect high 50 FPS no problem. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the game itself if that doesn't work contact Farcry 4 support team they can probably help

I had an FX-8350 but switched to an i5-4690 and it has been better in every possible way so i really do not plane on downgrading back to my FX-8350 anytime soon but i will try to delete the game and redownload it thanks man :)
