i m having dell vostro 1015 leaptop,after upgrading from win 7 to 8 it worked well,but all of a sudden,it hanged after two day

windows 8 installation take much time to install as well as hang when it move to finalizing the setup and finally error message pop up showing installation failure,i tried re-installing the os but i took much time to load,what should i do ,should i change my hdd or something else ??please suggest

The problem with Win 8 is Driver support it just isn't there on older laptops which causes major issues with installation as well as Sleep and Wake problems. To tell you the truth with what you have you are better off with Windblows 7 or a Linux distro.

For common uses and light Steam gaming on older laptops a Linux Distro like http://www.linuxliteos.com/ has better driver support and will take less resources than even Windows 7.

Now for your Winblows 8 issue it would be easier to Install Via a USB flash drive. You would need to create a bootable Flash Drive with a Windows 8 ISO and install from there after you Format your drive a clean install will work much better but I would guarantee how well it will work at all once it is...
