Hello, I was wondering how would I know if my ssd is installed properly and everything is working fine. I recently got an samsung 850pro and use their data migration tool to clone over my 750hdd to my samsung 850pro. Also, wanted to know if its performing properly. Furthermore, I had a question about if i want to format my original hdd, so i can use it for a storage drive and use my ssd for the main one. what should i do to back it up so just incase my ssd fails, so i can get my OS back. My laptop did not come with an OS disk. So i dont know what to do if i reformat my hdd and my ssd fails. Any suggestions? I dont know much about computers, just for the heads up. haha

P.S I have an Asus g750-rb71

To find out if your SSD is installed properly, go into the UEFI menu of the mother board. Navigate to the installed devices section and if your SSD pops up you shop be fine!

To backup your disk find a good disk backup software (http://www.techradar.com/news/software/applications/best-free-backup-software-11-programs-we-recommend-1137924) and an external HDD (WD Elements External Hard Drive - 2 TB) an you should be good from there. It is highly unlikely an SSD will fail, but just incase it does, find a spare external HDD to keep a backup of the original HDD.

Hope this helps!
