So basically, i'm able to use the internet perfectly for about 30 minutes. After this amount of time, if i try and load something else that needs internet, it won't load. But the strange part is that pages that i already had open will still work perfectly with the internet for another hour or so. Also, there is no error that i can find except for windows could not automatically detect proxy settings... HELP, thanks in advance.

I have tried several solutions already such as doing all the cmd things like netsh ip reset and what not, taking out the wireless card and putting it back in, resetting the router completely, troubleshooting, everything but nothings worked :(

This is only happening on my computer (which i built myself). The specs are:
r9 290
fx 6300
8gb hyperx ram
990fxa am3+ motherboard
500w psu
250gb samsung ssd
windows 8.1
not sure about the name of the wireless card but its something like ralink blah blah numbers...

Not sure if this might matter but one of the ram memory slots in the motherboard didnt work correctly so i put the ram in dual channel B instead of A. This could mean other parts of the motherboard are broken.

Solution
Does not sound like a RAM issue.

I am assuming you are using the built in wifi on the MB. These are not generally great. You can look for a better driver, bit this may be a hardware issue.

I would try a USB wifi solution as these are often better, and quite inexpensive for the more basic ones.

Sounds like a DHCP reservation expiring. Check the DHCP lease time on the router. The computer will attempt to renew at 1/2 the lease duration. I also was in on a thread like this and it was the Motorola modem had a 3600 SECONDS DHCP lease. If you have a cable modem, check to see if it has a DHCP lease also.

How do i check this? by going onto the routers homepage? I found out my older brothers laptop has the same problem when connected to our wireless repeater leaving me to believe its the wireless repeater that is the problem, how would i fix this?

The DHCP reservation is in the router's configuration. You would have to tell us what router you have to help you find it in the config pages. It is usually on a page called "LAN" or something like that. The wireless repeater SHOULDN'T have DHCP turned on. It is possible, but if so that is not the best situation. You really want only one DHCP server.

It has a lease time of 86400 so its not that, and im not sure how to find the wireless repeater settings, its a technet 300mbs 1 ethernet repeater and the router is a rt-n66u plugged into the plusnet technicolour for a modem.
