Hello, i have ordered a devil's canyon Intel Core i5 4690k. and i am confused which motherboard should i buy. now i know the motherboard must have Z97 chipset. but my problem is bios. i want a Z97 Motherboard that can support and work with i5 4690k RIGHT OUT OF BOX! i dont want and i dont know how to update the bios and all that kind of stuff. also i dont have any other LGA 1150 Cpu to update the motherboard with. now i looked for several motherboards on Amazon And Newegg and i have found couple of boards.
My 1st Option:
ASUS Z97-A
My 2nd Option:
Gigabyte Z97 GAMING 5
my 3rd option:
MSI Z97 SLI KRAIT Edition (the black and white board. even sexier. But so many reviews said that 2 ram slots are dead)
now im mainly gonna buy the gigabyte one. does any of those board support the i5 4690k right out of the box and will be able to overclock it later? i will be running windows 7 64 bit with 8 gigs of ram (1600 mhz) a 2gb GDDR5 Asus HD7850 GPU with CX600 Watt Corsair PSU.
also is there any difference between Asus Z97-A and Z97-C and E?
thanks and sorry for the long post.
