Hi. I want to get a PC that can run WoW on ultra easily. I want to be able to raid with as much fps as possible. I have a PC here...i hope you can tell me what you think. I also don't know if these parts are very quiet or if there is enough power supply

Cooler Master B500 VER.2, 500W PSU
Intel Core i7-4790 Socket-LGA1150, Quad Core
ASUS B85M-G, Socket-1150 m-ATX,
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 8GB CL9
Gainward GeForce GTX 960 2GB
Crucial BX100 250GB 2.5” SSD

Solution
That's total overkill for WOW...

Having said that, MMOs always have some unfortunate frame rate variation. It has a lot to do with the internet. You should never really expect constant 60 fps on a crowded server around a ton of people, regardless of your hardware.

That build will run WOW for the rest of its lifespan, and any other MMO for years as well. You could swap the i7 for an i5-4690 or an i5-4670 to save money without a noticeable performance difference, or you can keep the i7. It's a great CPU.

The i7 is definitely overkill, especially if your just playing WoW, I suggest the i5 4670K. Everything else in your build seems perfect though.
And your build will be able to max out this game just fine, even with the i5.

Hope this helps, good luck!

Dont worry that computer will run wow no problem for rest of the time that wow exists i can guarantee that. And yes the i7 is overkill any 4th gen i5 will run it just as well as that i7.

So i can take Intel Core i5-4690 Socket-LGA1150 instead? With no difference?

Yes you could, the i5 4690 is awesome for gaming.

Yes the only difference between the two is the i7 has hyper theading (4 cores and 8 threads) and wow can not take advantage of hyper threading most games cant. So an i5 with without hyper threading (4 cores and 4 threads) will be just as good.

Thanks so much guys! Now the only thing i am wondering about is the graphic card, Gainward GeForce GTX 960 2GB. I did not find many reviews on it, but if you guys say it is ok for ultra then i will keep it

The one great thing about the 900 series is the low power consumption. Especially the 960 because it is technically a lower tiered card of the 900 series.

But even if its a low tier it can still get ultra in wow?

Yeah without issues. I should of worded it better but I am at work. Technically lower tiered just because it's a 960 vs the 970 or 980. It is still an amazing card.

The 960 isn't actually a low tier card. As he said, he really could have worded that better. The GTX 960 is upper mid-range for the newest architecture. It could only be called "lower" by comparison to the absolute strongest cards, like the GTX 780 Ti or GTX 980.

The GTX 960 will have absolutely no trouble maxing WOW, and in fact should max nearly any game you install, aside from possibly Assassin's Creed Unity, since that game is optimized like liquid garbage.

If it helps, I maxed WOW on a GTX 750 Ti and i3-4360. The GTX 960 and i7-4790 are twice as strong as that.

Yeah my mistake lol. That sentence sounded like pure misinformation. I was at work and a client came in when I started typing it out so I just rushed it. The 960 is amazing powerful. Especially at $200. My bad fellas.
