Hello Tom's.

I am currently looking for a mid range pc for mainly next-gen gaming and sound editing as my first build.

I stumbled across this build http://www.gamersnexus.net/pc-builds/1791-mid-range-gaming-pc-build-for-streaming#!/ccomment-comment=10002225
(it says 884$ but it is actually around 830$)

In the comments I was also suggested this White Fang SuperCombo DIY combo from newegg, which is cheaper at 800$. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.2144880

I live in Canada but I will be buying in Washington State, USA. The first build is $871 US including customs, and the second build is about $805 US not including customs or tax.

Please help me decide between the two, or suggest a new build in the price range. I might plan on overclocking in the future, so maybe room for that will be helpful.

Thanks!
Zerychon

Here's a couple builds which stay under $1000 CND (which is about equivalent to $800 USD)

1st Build: Features an R9 290X which will play all modern games at ultra with nice FPS. Also has a budget aftermarket CPU cooler which will allow you to overclock the CPU. Should get 4ghz+ easy with this cooler.

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($34.95 @ Vuugo)
Motherboard: ASRock Z97 Anniversary ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($98.00 @ Vuugo)

I don't have 1k to spend. I will probably buy when the CDN goes up.
BTW the newegg isn't a prebuilt. It's a combo. I still need to build it, but I save money when I buy the parts together.

If you read the newegg combo, I guess you are right. I will go check some builds. I did see your build, though. Can you suggest something in my price range based on that?
