So I just got back from micro center. I picked up a case, motherboard and cpu.
i7 4790k, Maximus VII, and Graphite 780T full.
Now I need to finish buying the rest of my pc components online! Excluding what I've bought already, how should I proceed regarding graphic cards and the tri monitor set up I'm looking for? Does anyone have any suggestions/tips on which gpu or monitor to buy? Also I need help with the power supply and the rest of the peripherals (in case the case I bought needs extra fans and such). All help is extremely appreciated! What im going for is a tri monitor 1080p set up. Trying to keep the rest of the computer under $2000 excluding the $700 already spent on what I bought today. Thanks for any help!

Wow, that build is amazing, man. The looks of it are off the charts. Do you mind linking me to the fans and the led kit you got from costco? I really like the look of this build, and because the specs of our systems are almost identical as of now, I'd think it would look good for what I'm trying to do!

Also, what is the argument of the H100i vs H105 or whatever it is called, and also how hard was it to set up?

Sorry for so many questions, but do you suggest going sli 970s or sli 980s? I believe the Hero can only go to SLI (I'm not sure though on this) and would like to future proof my new pc. Thanks!

Okay so just the fans are Corsair AF120's. I don't remember if I mentioned it but I put in an H100i. It is fairly easy to setup as long as you plan it out. It honestly depends on the case. It comes with pre applied thermal paste which is really good for people who suck at applying it.

H100i Vs. H105? Well the H105 has a thicker rad so it should perform better. However this really won't matter as long as you aren't some overclocking diehard.

I suggest SLI 970s. GTX 980s are so over priced it is ridiculous. Double the cost of the 970 but it has only a 20% performance increase. Definitely not worth it. I am not sure what you mean about the Hero being able to SLI. The Hero does not need to be SLIed. It can run a signal card (Like 99% of motherboards) as well two cards.

Ok thanks for the help with that. I will most likely just be going with the h100i then.

Well thank you for that because I honestly was about to drop $1100 on sli 980s. I am going to be running a three monitor set up though, will sli 970s handle it with ease?

What is the monitor budget? There are some really nice ones out there. Do you want 60Hz or 144Hz? 144Hz is more fluent if your GPU(s) can handle it (In this case the answer is duhhh.. yes it can).
