Hello! I am planning to change the case, PSU and graphics card for my Dell Inspiron 660s PC as you have seen from the title. I have no idea of what I will plan to upgrade the PSU or case to, but I believe any Mini ATX case will do. As for the graphics card, I really want to upgrade to the EVGA Geforce GT 730(http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Profile-Graphics-02G-P3-3733-KR/dp/B00L5GZG5C). I plan to change the case and PSU later, so what I'm mainly here for is to see if the GT 730 will be compatible with my system right out of the box. Any PSU or case upgrades are greatly appreciated, however! Thank you for taking the time to read this and have a wonderful day! (I'm trying out this forum because on previous forums I have tried to get some help, the people were incredibly rude)

This version is much smaller and more likely to fit into your machine. I cant find any pictures the inside of your machine, therefore, I cannot guarantee it will fit. If you are able to upload pictures of the inside of your machine , I would be able to make sure it would fit properly. Just in case you decide to get a different version of the gt 730, make sure its the ddr5 version. The ddr3 version is much slower.

Nvidia recommends (keyword there) a 300 watt psu therfore, you will be fine with your 220 watt. Hell, the card only has a 38 watt tdp. Thats nothing. I am running a gt 430 (twice the power consumption) on my Dell vostro 200 with the same psu. Good luck with your upgrade.

So nVidia says 300W and you recommend 220W? You know the power supply has to also run the rest of the PC? Usually 250W is recommended to run a PC without a video card.

Man a $93 case for a video card that's $60? Good.
@OP Go for a PSU upgrade if you want to upgrade just one component. Getting a quality PSU means your PC will last longer, and a graphics card upgrade will be supported if you ever want to go for something more powerful than a 730.

Also, the power supply does not deliver the full 220W. It only goes upto around 160 W on the +12V rail.
I had the LED's of my Acer PC flicker when I installed a GT 210(31W) and it had a 250 W power supply with 192W max 12V power draw.

Honestly - assuming you have a fairly decent i3/i5 in that little dell ?
My advice is replace the case & PSU first & foremost.
Its not safe running any discrete GPU on that little default psu it has.the 730 is a pointless upgrade anyway IMO.
You can choose pretty much any mitx/matx case (99% of matx cases will support a 4 screw mini itx board anyway).

Do you know of any places that would help me move all of the components into the new case? I live on the east coast of the US. Thank you in advance!

Could you recommend some PSUs? I think I read on the Dell website that the type of PSU that my PC has is not upgradable. Could you also recommend some new cases/towers?(If you have time)
Thank you in advance!

Do you know of any other cases? That case is amazing, but right now, my budget is tight. If you could find on $70 or below, that would be amazing! Thank you in advance!

Don't trust websites of branded companies, they're there to do business.

As you're getting a new case, your old power supply will not fit in a ATX case, you have a small form factor PC.
Power supplies for small form factor PCs are hard to find, so they say it's not upgradable.

You could fit any standard power supply in the new case you'll buy, so only thing that matters is what your specifications are and what your total budget is.

As for cases, they're generally a personal preference, and only matter if you're an advanced user who has to do stuff like water cooling, cable management, all the likes.

I can pretty much guarantee you will be fine without a new case and power supply (speaking from first hand experience) however, if you want to get a new case and power supply, I suppose that will work well also.

One of my personal favorites that fits in your price range is the sentey gs-6000 optimus 2. It comes loaded with features and is overall a fantastic case for the money. I will post a link to a you tube overview from newegg. The evga 500b will be more than enough to power your machine. Its a great budget psu that will not leave you penniless.
