I have read in many places that cloning/copying/migrating the OS from HDD to SSD is bad, makes it slow/causes damage to SSD thus reducing it's life span.

Will I cause any problems if I copy non OS things like program files for a games like StarCraft 2 or steam games like Skyrim. I don't think has any optimization in the installation for ssd installs. Or should i still fresh install.

I want to know because it's a pain to redownload and reinstall everything.

Thanks for the help! ^_^

Steam games can be moved easily.

Other applications, reinstall.
