I just built my new computer, got it all set up and everything is in right, started it up and went into the bios to make a proper boot device, saved settings and rebooted, same error came up to tell me to select a proper device but now my keyboard isn't responding to my computer. Now I'm stuck with this lack screen telling me to set a proper device to boot..

I tried that and nothing happened. I plug in my keyboard to another computer to see if if it still works, and it does. The computer just doesn't want to respond to it anymore, my mouse lights up so that still works, just not my keyboard

Is the Keyboard a USB or PS/2 ?

If it is USB it could be possible that it has lost its drivers for USB keyboard. As PS/2 do not require such drivers as they are dedicated ports to peripherals you should be able to plug a PS/2 keyboard in and try get the drivers. If you can load into windows you may also be able to get the onscreen keyboard working which should help if you don't have a PS/2 keyboard.
