I had sent my Gigabyte 970A-D3 to get replaced, as it died after 1.5 years, so it was under warranty. At least thats what GB told me after some troubleshooting, as my pc was not booting up at all. I and thought it was the PS, but after trying a few things, and buying a new PS, still not booting.
Anyway, they told me they received it damaged from shipping, so I'm SOL as far as replacement.
My current config is:
AMD Phenom 2 x4 955 3.2 GHz
Gigabyte 970A-D3 (Dead)
2 Gig DDR3 RAM
ATI Radeon 4890 1 GB DDR5
Corsair HX850 PS (brand new)
so I need something that would work well with what I have.
I had onboard sound so no need for a sound card.
I do graphics work, digital painting and gaming on this pc, as well as the ave. internet crap.
I don't want Gigabyte again, obviously.
A friend recommended MSi
