I mixed a 4gb ram stick and a 1gb ram stick. The reason being that right now; I don't have enough money to buy a new ram stick; but I did have a 1gb stick lying around. I tested a few games like Bioshock Infinite and Assassin's Creed IV and haven't seen any crashes or problems. I also tested the ram with the Windows Memory Diagnostic and it said there were no problems.
Both sticks have the same voltages and memory bandwidths. However; the frequencies are different.
So should I be fine keeping the ram in there or I should I remove it just to be safe?
