Hello,

I just bought this power supply and noticed that it's 6/8 pin cords are double tipped...in other words it looks like you can use 1 cord for both Video card power inserts.

Should I use it like this? Or should I use 4 individual cords? Are there any problems/ disadvantages?

Or can I use 2 cords for both video cards.

Hopefully I explained myself well enough to understand my point.

Here is a basic idea idea:

Basically it's a long cord that splits in 2.

Solution
As long as the power cords were packaged along with the PSU, yes go ahead and use one cord to connect with both connectors on the graphics card. The cord is designed for this and the PSU will supply the required power.

Ditto with two graphics cards.

The only caveat is that you should not use a power cord from a different PSU even from the same manufacturer just because it looks similar; the pin-outs may be different.

Yes. If you have two of them, you would have to use two of the PCI-E cables. Those cables are made for that! :D

Yeah they came with the PSU.

Also I had one question. I'm getting a weird bug or I dunno what. My computer keeps restarting if I set my video cards to run 100% Fan speed.

The weird thing is, if I set the fan to auto the computer doesn't restart and it only restarts for Far Cry 4...So if I overclock the video cards and even over volt them and set the fan to auto it runs stable. As soon as I put the fans to 100% and set the gpus overclock or stock...it simply shuts down and turns itself back on.

CPU doesn't hit more than 80 Degrees on prime95 and GPUs are 85 max. :S It's very weird that an overclock/overvolt runs stable yet 100% fans shuts down the computer
