Having some issues with upgrading my cpu on a HP G60 125nr laptop. I've done quite a bit of research and it seems that it should be compatible, even from the HP site.
I was thinking that maybe the cpu may be dead since the computer won't boot or show anything on the screen and with replacing with the old one everything works fine.
However, some people have had issues with upgrading to Amd ultra zms and having the same issue as me.
They're both s1g2 chips
They both share the same bios: F.54a
zm80: TMZM80DAM23GG
rm70: TMRM70DAM22GG
I do know that the zm80 comes from factory with vista, I'm currently using win 7 64bit, would that cause a problem?
Can anyone verify that upgrading to the zm works on their HP G60?
