how to set wifi network to home network

how would i open this up without it poping up byitself?

Right-click the wifi icon in the notification area (bottom right) and choose "Open Network & Sharing Centre".

You should see an icon for your current WiFi network connection designated in blue text as "Home Network",
"Public Network" or "Work Network". Just click on that blue text.
