I recently bought a Transcend DDR3-1333 DDR3 4 GB PC DRAM (JM1333KLN-4G) RAM.When i placed it in the motherboard and started the CPU,the motherboard started making a sound like beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..... and it went on and on until i finally removed the RAM.After removing it i again started the CPU and it worked fine this time with no sound. So,is the RAM defective or this is some issue with my motherboard.I have an Acer verito m275 motherboard. Please help

I checked my motherboards manual and in the memory section it says "Up to 4 GB DDR3 800/1066 MHz SDRAM (dual-channel support on two DIMMs)"

On the RAM's product page it says "4GB JM DDR3 1333 U-DIMM 1Rx8"

Good call, if 4GB is max then it's usually in a 2x2GB config with a 2 slot mobo or 4x1GB on a four slot mobo - so 4GB sticks won't work
