ASRock Z77 Extreme4 3TB Issue

Just setup an ASRock Z77 Extreme4 system. 2 - 80GB HDD RAID 1 for OS. 2 - 3TB HDD intended for RAID 1 data storage. UEFI bios recognizes 3TB fine. Load Win7 64bit on 80GB RAID 1. Windows only recognizes 746.5GB on each 3TB HDD. Pulled each drive and loaded one at a time into my external drive carrier. Plugged into USB on my Win7 64bit laptop. 3TB recognized just fine. What is going on?

Sorry, not an answer, I have the same board, and when I raided my 3TB drives I had the same problem, decided not to raid them and just back up more frequently. Leaving this to see what kind of answers you get. I'd be interested to know too.

ASRock does have a utility to be able to use 3TB+ drives - http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z77%20Extreme4/?cat=Download&os=Win764

I have an ASRock board as well (older model), but when I added my 3TB drive it was recognized with no problem and I didn't have to use that utility.

Solution: Download all drivers directly from the ASRock website. Don't use the CD that comes with the motherboard.
