Hey there,

My Specs are:
AMD FX6300
Asrock 970 Pro 3 R2.0
8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz ram
Corsair VS 650
Geforce GTX 770

I'm sort of new to this whole PC Building thing, and when I first built my pc about a year ago I went for the cheap options.

Im not getting the framerates I'd like, so I was wondering if I should upgrade my Processor + Mobo or just get another 770 to SLI. Which would give me better fps in games like DayZ, Battlefield, Nosgoth, Minecraft, LoL etc.

Solution
Hands down a mobo and CPU upgrade. The 770 is pretty powerful right now and the thing that is limiting you is definitely your CPU.

Solution

No they are not a very good comination. There is no reason to have a Z97 board with a CPU that cannot overclock.

CRU0, yes you would definitely get a stable FPS. Especially if you went with the 4460.

My current FX6300 is currently OC'z to 4.5Ghz, would the 4460 still outperform it?

The 4460 would knock its socks off.
