Hi,

I'm running Windows 7. After about 10 minutes, my internet stops working, but my wired connection remains fine. So I can still do things like chat on Ventrilo, but I can't browse websites.

I know for certain it's not a DNS error as I've switched to Open DNS and back with no results. So I'm genuinely at a loss as to what's going on.

Attached is a pastebin of my Dxdiag.

Any help would be wonderful, thanks.

If you're still looking for an answer on this, I'd try first updating the device driver for any current network adapters, both wired and wireless, by going into control panel, device manager, network adapters and then right clicking on the device and selecting "update driver software" and then "update automatically". Then I'd double click on the adapter in question and in the device properties go to the power management tab and unselect the option that says "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

I'd also make sure I had the latest motherboard BIOS installed and in the BIOS settings make sure there are no options enabled for network adapter power saving features or timeouts.

If you can provide the specific network adapter model number there are also specific advanced setting options related to energy saving or "green" features, that may also be related. Additionally, if you know how to access your wireless routers main menu, there may be similar options for power saving or timeout settings there as well.
