Hi i am looking to buy a new gpu and is there any under £100 that can do the job for most games preferably as cheap as possible. Thanks!

What do you mean max out? Do you mean max settings at 60 fps, if you do you will need to adjust your budget as you are looking for something like a NVidia 970 or AMD 290X.

Another very important question is what is the rest of your system especially which exact psu do you have. No point in buying a high end gpu if its bottlenecked by the rest of your system and you need to ensure you have enough power to run the gpu

GTX 750 and GTX 750Ti are both very expensive for the performance they kick out. They're both designed to run as cool and as power efficient as possible, and sacrifice performance for that. I would take an R9 270 over both of these every day. It's not like you're going to be killing the earth with an R9 270, even if it uses more power than the GeForce options.

Well, I was comparing R7 260x and GTX 750.

Btw, the celeron g1620 will most likely bottleneck the R9 270.

And, he's not going to need only 10 pounds more to buy a R9 270. For example, the cheapest asus GTX 750 costs £91, but the cheapest asus R9 270 costs £119.

Oh wow, did not see that processor.

You might want to consider upgrading to an i3 before touching the graphics card. That way you can futureproof your computer a lot more and upgrade the graphics card later. The Celeron will bottleneck almost any graphics card you put in there.

If his power supply does not draw an actual 680 watts it would be the safe route to go.

I dont think g1620 will bottleneck any of this cards: Gtx 750, 750ti or r7 260x.

I found a reviews where g1620 + HD 7970 can give 28 fps, while at the same game, with i7 3960x, gtx 750ti gives 27 fps, 750 gives 23 fps and 260x gives 27 fps.

They seem to have similar max performance, so no bottleneck, I think
