Hi guys! Today, i have a question about video size for you.
1. How big is 1 minute of 1080p video at 30fps?
2. How big is 1 minute of 1080p video at 60fps?
3. Is there any difference?
Thanks!

Solution

That's not a question that can be answered because resolution and frame rate have almost nothing to do with the size of the file. Bitrate (Mbps) is what matters for file size.

If you record the footage in RAW format with a professional camera then 1 minute can be huge. If you rip a 1080p Blu-Ray, the movie can be 30GB. That same movie, still in 1080p, can be found as a compressed torrent on the internet for less than 2GB. The resolution and frame rate are the same but the bitrate (and quality) is much lower.

I can't tell the exact value, but i've recorded some videos of games recently, and i had max 300mb on a 20 second video at 720p at 30fps, so you might be getting 900mb or more if the ratio is equal, on a 30fps.

the difference will be the frames, for example you can tell the framing differente from 30 to 60fps, 30 is slower but also requires less hardware, 60fps is higher, faster and prettier to see but can slow performance while recording.
