I had this PC built a year ago:

ASUS P8Z77-V LK Motherboard
i7-3770k
Geforce 780 GTX
850w PSU

About two weeks ago I suffered a power surge. Since then every so often I would hear a buzzing noise from what sounded like my PSU. We replaced my PSU with a 750w two days ago and I am still experiencing a buzzing noise so it turns out its not the PSU. My friend thinks its the motherboard instead. Its not a constant buzzing it happens for a few hours and then its fine, yesterday it didnt even happen at all. If anyone has any other suggestions as to what the culprit might be I would like to hear.

I am worried more damage will happen to my PC, but I have had no errors or blue screens or shut downs, no heat issues or the sort, but I would like to fix the issue as soon as possible.

So I have been looking to replace my motherboard and I cannot find my motherboard anymore, its either out of stock or more then double of what I payed for it a year ago.

I would like to know what motherboard is just as good as my current or better I would like to spend under $200 if at all possible.

Solution
I'd go w/ the Rock's Z77 Extreme 4, reasonable and was the best selling and rated Z77 there was, ran mine at 4.7 24/7 - the person that bought it also is running 24/7
