My hdd is starting to run very slow and i'm assuming it doesnt have many days left to live, i have a warranty so it is no problem.

When i tried to remove the hdd from the case it turned out i cannot remove the hdd tray out of the bay.

is there a special way or something or is it just stuck there forever?

againt, the case im talking about is the corsair carbide 300r and im trying to remove a hdd not an ssd

Solution
Power off the PC, ask somebody to pull the tray from the front side, while you slightly hit the tray on the back side with a hammer and a piece of wood or similar.

I got it out, using a little force (luckly nothing broke) i got the tray out of the bay. It turned out that when i put the computer together i put the hdd in facing the wrong way, so it ended up getting stuck. Now i put it back normaly and now i can swap the hdd out in a second. Thanks for the help.
