I'd say the Gamecom 788 has the better sound and mic quality, it is underrated. Maybe the build quality is slightly less good than the HyperX but it is also cheaper. I owned both and I say Gamecom 788.

I've heard so many conflicting reports about the gamecom, some say it's great others say it sucks :< so it's made me unsure.

I personally have never seen bad reviews or complaints on the Gamecom 788.

I mean i was reccomended it by someone, looked it up found a few were like hll yes, but talked about it on another tech forum and yeah one or two were saying it sucked audio quality wise.

Strange, not sure which motherboard or sound card they were using. The HyperX Cloud is the one that gets the most positive reviews, then go for that one. Unless you have a big head.
