What can I do? Eight hours ago the computer was fine. I turn it off and the next day I turn my computer on there was no screen and a orange light battery.

That means the battery is dead normally (needs to be recharged). Plug in the outlet plug and the other end to the computer.

If you already do that, then unplug both power outlet from computer AND pop out the battery (there is push switches to 'unlock it' then it will slip out of hte computer). Wait 10 min. Then plug in JUST outlet power (no battery). If it still doesn't power on the computer has died, depending how old it is may not be under warranty for hardware failute.

If it powers on, then plug in the battery for the battery to charge. If you have the same issue again, then the problem is you fried / overcharged your battery.

MOST CONSUMERS do not THINK about the battery being in a laptop and keep the laptop 'plugged in' to the wall outlet like a replacement desktop system. The problem is it is constantly (even when powered off) trying to 'recharge' the battery and instead KILL the 'charging' in the battery till the battery (like rechargable batteries in your flash light) no longer can be 'recharged'. This is called OVERcharging.

Rule of thumb on laptops: Keep the battery UNPLUG while the power to the wall is plugged in EXCEPT when preparing to 'travel' (that could also mean just walking from your bedroom to the out door patio) and need to make sure the battery is charged.
