Laptop running HOT. AMD CPU

My laptop is running HOT. ;( I want to know what is the average CPU temperature of a laptop. I just purchased this a month ago. its ASUS X550ZE.

Here are my specs:
Operating System: Windows 8.1 Single Language 64-bit
System Manufacturer: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC.
System Model: X550ZE
BIOS: 201
Processor: AMD A10-7400P Radeon R6, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 3530MB RAM
Page File: 2790MB used, 2151MB available


CPU temp: from HWmonitor and speccy
AMD K15 107 °C - 120 °C
Bald Eagle 28nm Technology

ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. X550ZE (P0) 101 °C - 112 °C

Is this still normal? I dont overclock, i cant afford to buy parts or new laptop. :'( this is all i got.
 
Solution
Just clarify two things.
First, is it always showing above 100C?
Second, are you experiencing automatic shutdown/restarts ?
If the answer to the first question is mostly yes and to the second question is no, then your laptop is fine. What the software is telling you is wrong.
Also can you tell whether you are experiencing any throttling? (check it with any tool). If the answer is still no or even sometimes, it is even more proof that what the software is telling you is wrong and your laptop is absolutely fine.
The reason I am suspecting it is because the A10 will shut down if it crosses 102C and yet the softwares are recording more than that, which is impossible. So, they are wrong info.

may i know what is the reason why i am experiencing this? :(
The laptop is still under warranty. I am not sure what they will ask me. What should I say or present to them?

Most likely a faulty CPU, wrongly applied thermal paste, or the cooling system not working properly. Just tell them that it is overheating and provided you haven't taken any bits apart etc. they should be fine with replacing it.

I appreciate your help. I am going to ASUS service center tomorrow morning, and update you. Thanks a~lot!
Also, I almost forgot, if my cpu is overheating, will it damage or affect its motherboard too or other hardware? I have a friend who experienced this kind of problem. His motherboard was affected. ASUS replaced only its cpu and motherboard.
I am thinking if, they are going to replace only its part/s, maybe some components are damaged.

So I got my laptop back and they told me that the OS was CORRUPTED. the reason why i was experiencing overheat and freeze. but it seems that problem is still there. is this still/now ok?

Make sure as well that you're running your laptop on a smooth surface like a tray or table top so it can get proper air circulation. Laptops are already at a cooling disadvantage and even slightly blocking the ventilation holes can make a huge difference when it's used say on someone's lap (oddly enough), placed on a blanket or on a bed. I've seen many people use their laptops that way and the temps can quickly go up. I'm not saying you are, just trying to offer some advice to reduce heat problems. You shouldn't have to use a laptop cooler (like a small pad with fans built into it) but they can also help get more cool fresh air to the cooling vents on a laptop.

Yep, i use a cooling pad. I think this is factory defect. I just used this less than a month. I hope they will replace this. Cuz they have 7 day policy and its more than 7 days and less than a month :(

Thank you so much for your help :') I feel better now.

I went to ASUS service center, I requested for replacement. They will check the laptop for 2-3 days. They WILL NOT replace the laptop but repair it ONLY. If it needs to change its parts. It will take 3-5 weeks. Only if I pursue to request a replacement where I bought it (OCTAGON COMPUTER STORE). But the store's policy is only 7 days replacement.

I am no techy guy. Who could have notice an overheating CPU within 7 days? :'(

I don't trust service center here in Philippines unlike in other countries like Europe or America.

They repaired the laptop and told me the OS was corrupted and there is nothing wrong with the parts/hardware. But when I am running the HWmonitor, it seems the same. Is this normal already?

Always showing above 100C. Not experiencing automatic shutdown/restarts but experiencing freeze. I am experiencing slow-downs. The only thing they have done is that they "restarted my laptop and clean the inside. They also said everything was fine, no harware problems." -AsusWorld.

As I had said above, the software is showing wrong values. Your CPU will shutdown if it reaches 102C and since it is not doing so, it has surely not reached even close to that temperature. AMD processors however are known to throttle heavily even after moderate load and that explains your slowdown. It is nothing unusual though.
So, keep on using your laptop without worries. It is fine.
