Bough a new GPU, need a new case

I recently bought a new gpu to upgrade my rig, a Vapor-x Tri-x R9 290. The card is too long (305mm) for my case (Thermaltake V3), so I'm looking for a new case. I would prefer to stay on mid-towers, as I'm afraid that a full tower could take too much space since I don't have a lot in my room.
Do you guys think the 290 could fit in a case like the CM690 III or the Phantom 410 without too many problems?(Those are the two I liked the most)
Do you have any other case that would fit my needs?
Or do you think that it'd be just better to get a full tower?

I apologize if this is in the wrong section, I'm new here, and since there isn't one for cases-related threads, this seemed the most appropriate place to me.

^ The R5 is actually a great choice, my buddy has one and it looks sweet.

Other recommendations would be the case i have (NZXT H440).
The Carbide Series 200R is an amazing case for the price too!

R4, 450D, Midi R2, 600T, etc.

Look into some cases. Just remember, most mid-towers have removable drive bays which allows longer cards are the expense of losing a bay or two. but unless you plan on running more than 2-3 HDDs, you're fine.

The Vapor 290 is 305mm in length. You just need to find a case that can accommodate the length (almost all cases will have this dimension in the specs).
Phantom 410: Will fit, but you must remove a fan from the case
CM690: will fit if you dismantle upper harddrive racks...

Just look for cases with atleast a 305mm clearance and you're golden :)

Is it okay if the clearance is just about 305mm? Wouldn't the gpu fitting too tightly be a problem?

Alot of cases are dependant on case fans and/or harddrive trays. Make sure you take that into account. You're going to want some extra space (atleast a few "mm") it's dependant on the case and the card's build.

The 290 being a lengthy card. There isn't that much selection in the way of mid-towers. You may want to look into a full tower.

Which full tower cases could I buy with less than 150 euros in your opinion? I'd prefer cases with good airflow, good dust protection and possibly a side window
