Hello all,

Running a Radeon 7600 series on Windows 8.1 64-Bit.

Computer came with AMD Vision Center installed, worked great for about 2 years.

Decided to upgrade to Catalyst center in order to have access to anti-aliasing options which were absent on Vision Center.
Used the Catalyst AutoDetect which gave me 14.12.

After upgrading, my display now flashes black as though the monitor has turned off, while the monitor remains on.
At first it started happening every 8 hours or so, in a burst of 5-10 flashes to black, about a second each.
The issue has gotten progressively more severe, with the screen now flashing black in the same manner once every 5-15 minutes all day.

Tried uninstalling Catalyst center following the guide on the Catalyst site; the whole Uninstall ran but after restarting the computer Catalyst Control Center was still running and the Programs Features menu no longer had the uninstall program available.

AMD Vision Engine Control Center does still appear in the list, but running a repair install on it still leaves me with CCC instead.

Foolishly, did not make a restore point before upgrading to CCC.

How on earth will my computer get back to it's previous setup?
Running the default AMD Vision Center worked for 2 years but my desire to access more features appears to have cost me stability.

Solution
use this in safemode and remove your display drivers then it will restart then install again
