I want to OC my 2.8ghz quad core to at least 3ghz. What would be the best cooling system to use?

The Corsair H55 hydro is compatbile as is the Corsair Hyper 103 fan.

The liquid is £42 whereas the fan is £20.
Help?
And is a RAM upgrade from 4gb to 8gb worth it?

Solution
oh if it's lack of space then sure go for liquid cooling or something like this http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/noctua-cpu-cooler-nhc14, noctua will give amazing performance and noise levels are almost unmatched

Thanks for your answer however I do not think this cooler will fit into my case. My case is 190mm wide and 158.5 mm above the processor is required.

thx, for your needs a good air cooler like h212 evo would be a better suited option and offer about the same if not better cooling performance as the h55, otherwise if you want to go with liquid cooling, i would suggest getting h75 or seidon 120, both will offer a lot better performance than the h55, and can be had for around 60 pound mark(with stock fans though), but even so the h55 will be enough for such a overclok
