Asus H97 plus and i5 4690

Hello everyone. This is my first post/question and looking for advice.

First: I'm not sure completely about the compatibility between the Asus H97 plus and i5 4690 cpu. Is there a need to update BIOS in this case.
Second: Is this configuration suits the digital painting/drawing needs.

Power Supply: Seasonic S12 620W
MB: Asus H97 plus
Cpu: i5 4690
RAM: 2 x 4 Gb Kingston 1600 MHz_ Hyper X Savage
SSD_Kingston KC300 120Gb

(my budget is very limited)

I would really appreciate quick response. Thank YOU in advance.

Wow, thank you for such quick response. Maybe I should have told that I bought Asus H87M pro few days ago and ordered i5 4670, but in the meantime that CPU is withdrawn from the stores so I'm also in dilemma should I replace H87m pro with the H97 plus or i5 4690 for i5 4590 to avoid BIOS issues. Will these changes affect photoshop cs6 performace too much?

The problem is that i5 4670 is no longer available in my country. So only option left is to replace H87 for H97 and get i5 4690. Thank you very much!!! Can you tell me is this configuration good for photoshop CS6, mostly drawing and coloring, nothing too demanding. (I'm using Cintiq 22 HD) Thank you in advance.
