How's my new build $1000ish?

I'm looking to build this ASAP, but wanted to get some opinions and make sure nothing was overlooked. I plan on reusing my mass storage drive, so don't need one of those.

In the future I will upgrade to 16gb RAM, possibly a all in one CPU liquid cooler and a 2nd 970 eventually.

How's the build look?

You look good there but if you do plan on adding the AIO and a second GPU then I would look at a little larger PSU now. 750 can possibly cover that but you never want to tax it by making it run at full all the time. for $15 more Newegg has the EVGA 850w G2 Gold or for $30 more you can get the 1000w G2 Gold.

I agree with Spentshells on the RAM but the cooler is one of the best air coolers out right now. The RAM could be upgraded for a little more and get a little faster but what you have would still work.

Why the expensive case? You can get a cheaper one and go for a liquid cooler. Also, the Gigabyte Z97 Gaming 5 will do the same job for less money. If you are looking into liquid coolers, I heard many people recommend the NZXT Kraken coolers.

CAS is the number of cycles to return the info. For DDR3 I would look for a 9 optimally but 10 is still good. I wouldn't go above that. I also wouldn't worry that much about it and the speed, 1866 is good and you shouldn't need anything higher for what you are looking at.

1600 MHz with 6-8 CAS value is also pretty good.

The case is honestly the part I've had the most issue deciding on. I really like the way that case looks, that it has the clean front, a nice large window and good airflow. I don't really like the lack of optical drive bays but I can live with it.

Any other suggestions on cases that fit that critera?

I know that the Corsair 200R and 300R, as well as the Cooler Master K280 are all good cases. Check them out and decide for yourself. If you like the H440's looks a lot more, however, feel free to choose it over the cheaper versions - if you don't like your PC, what's the point?
