Hi all, i have a weird problem with my xfx hd6870 dual fan edition.
When i turn on the pc, fan is at 100% on the gpu, also when the pc is booted, under gpuz/amd overdrive it shows 31% or whatever it is, but the fan is at 100% (i know, it's loud!) also, gpuz doesnt read fan rpm, it is just --.
Temps ate great, 30C in idle, obviously because its freakin loud, i tried the manual fan control but it doesn't help, it just stays on 100%.
Also, from time to time it settles down, but just for 2-3 minutes, then starts acting crazy again, i tried reflashing bios using custom fan settings in rbe, but didn't help, i checked if the fan conector sits good on the pcb, and it is good also.
What the hell could be the problem, it just started acting crazy all of a sudden, also i tried megaclean install of stock, and latest omega 14.12 drivers, nothing, still crazy and still starts uo at 100%.
Could something on the conector be broken? I never disasembled it, it was the first time today to see if the conectors are seated good, also to clean it up a bit.

Rest of conponents
650W psu
C2d e7300 @3.5ghz
6Gb ddr3 ram
Mbo, gigabyte haha...

Also to update...Wehn i run furmark, and when the temps hit 65C fan starts throttling from 100 to 50%, and then on 73C it stabilizes and runs normal (i can adjust it via overdrive or afterburner), then again it spins up to 100% all of a sudden, then i run furmark again, the same thing happens and then fan stays like that for 5h (i tested so far), and still runs good. When i restart my PC, problem happens again.
I did a fresh install again of all the drivers, cleaned before with DDU, didn't help, i dissasembled the card again, checked all the connectors, everything in place, there are two pins, in one pin 2 red wires, in other 2 black wires, i am going crazy and looking for aftermarket coolers, is there any way to sort this out?

Please guide me up guys, what could be the problem? Thx in front
