Just about ready to pull the trigger on this build

I plan on buying these today, when I get an OK from you guys. I won't be playing demanding AAA games. No overclocking but possible Xfire down the road. I'm hoping to get 70+ FPS at 1080p on high (light-medium games). I have a budget of 760 WITH tax and shipping. I will add an SSD LATER. Please do not only comment adding an SSD (I get false hope). I just have one question, if I am not going to overclock, will I need a Z chipset motherboard or should I get an H97? Thanks

That build looks OK except for the case. I used that case in a build fairly recently and thought that was one of the worst cases I have seen. The front panel buttons seemed cheap and the power button was hard to use and will be extremely hard to hold in to shut down the comp in an emergency. It is a thin button and seems like you need a screw driver to use it.

Something like this case would be better.

A 270x will meet all my needs. Anything more and it can be argued as overkill. Not saying it is, but one could argue that point. I will also be doing some CPU intensive stuff so that's the main reason I picked the 4590.

Is that the only reason why you didn't like the case? Minor front panel issues isn't a deal breaker.

Just turning the comp on was a major pain/annoyance. You'll see.

But the rest of the case was fine?

The front panel ports were loose and seemed like they would not last very long with much use.

3.4 ghz turbo boost vs 3.7 ghz turbo boost

imo the xtra performance you can get from the xtra 300 mhz is not noticeable and is not worth the money (but its your pc)

and yeah the 270x will be sufficient enough for 1080p ( i have the same gpu and it is smoothly running current gen games on ultra preset - fc4, da inquisition, crysis 3, bf4)

Ok so if we go with the case Spooky suggested and the CPU Sig suggested, what PSU do you think would be good? Nothing over 65 and no MIR.

Could you explain why the case is 'awful' and what makes the S12II better than the HALE82 V2?
