Can i boost this i3 2350m @2.30ghz

So i have a laptop i use mainly for school,minecraft and watching youtube lately iv'e been wondering if theres a way to speed it up it has ubuntu 14.04 installed on it heres the specs ubuntu says it has

Memory/Ram 3.8GB

Processor Intel® Core™ i3-2350M CPU @ 2.30GHz × 4

Graphics Intel® Sandybridge Mobile x86/MMX/SSE2 Although im pretty sure its intel HD3000

OS Type 32-bit

if anyone can help me it would be much appreciated

Good friend, I regret to say that apart from upgrading RAM, you can not do much else to increase performance, a change of CPU would be very complicated because you would have to find one that is available to the socket of your laptop and is compatible with all as regards the manufacturer. You can not do overclocking, since the Bios does not allow it, though, and played in several forums, users who have succeeded, but nothing concrete. Mostly the GPU (Graphics Card) is integrated into the CPU and therefore has no slots expancion. So you can do is limited to expand the RAM and HDD. Hope that helps
